My house is filled with electrical appliances of all kinds; I've really lost count of them. There are wires and extention cords everywhere I step, and I enjoy having all these gadgets around me. I am attached to them as if they were my pets. Very often I find the wires tangled and twisted in most peculiar ways; even if someone deliberately tried to twist them, it would not be that simple, and it would take time, too. The knot I found the other day on the iron's electrical cord was the oddest of all. Here it is:

I think Kikimora has adjusted to the advancements in modern technology. There is no yarn in my house to entangle, but there are lots of wires, so why not to substitute yarn for wires? If the purpose of Kikimora's existence is to play little pranks, then she has to choose from what's available if she wants to survive in the rapidly changing world.
